At Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa we are aware of the needs and benefits flowing from operating in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility. In the course of our engagement in numerous corporate social responsibility-related projects we resolved to structure the CSR area by devising our CSR strategy in 2012, which the JSW S.A. Management Board adopted at the outset of 2013. For we assume that the people who work at JSW S.A. understand our business the best and that they are the best ambassadors of how we conduct CSR-compliant operations. Our strategy applies to JSW S.A., but it is our ambition ultimately to devise a document that will cover the entire JSW Group. As a CSR-compliant company, we rely on observing transparent business practices and building positive relations with stakeholder groups.

The impact our business has on society and the environment, has become a key component to evaluate the effectiveness of a socially responsible company. The aim of the strategy was to take into account the interests of all parties when achieving the objectives of economic decision-making and decision taking.

As a market leader, we are committed to the promotion of ethics and want to join the ranks of the world leaders in terms of corporate responsibility, human rights and environmental protection. The responsibility for achieving this goal lies within all JSW workers.
