Areas of management:
- Overseeing all of the Company’s operations, including in particular: production (including occupational health and safety), production security, coal preparation, investments, methane drainage, methane management, process optimization and quality.
Mr. Rozmus is a Doctor of Engineering and Technical Sciences, author and co-author of numerous publications on practical solutions for the hard coal mining industry. He graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Faculty of Mining, majoring in Mining and Geology in the field of Underground Construction.
His career began at Piast Coal Mine, where he worked his way up from underground trainee to head of the mining department. Then he served as Chief Engineer at the Ziemowit Section of the Piast-Ziemowit Coal Mine. On 1 January 2021, he was appointed Director of the Mysłowice-Wesoła Coal Mine.
In his work, he advocates for innovative solutions and the application of methodologies to optimise the operation of mining facilities. He is also a member of the Mining Hazards Commission, which operates under the authority of the President of the National Mining Authority.
For more than a dozen years, he served as an active mine rescue worker. During this time he participated in rescue operations both as a member of rescue teams and as a Rescue Operations Manager responsible for the conduct of operations.
