Changes in the JSW S.A. Management Board

On February 8 the JSW Supervisory Board adopted a resolution on dismissal with immediate result from the Management Board Mr. Aleksander Wardas, acting as Vice-President of the Management Board for Technical Matters. The Supervisory Board did not give the reason of its decision.


Earlier, at a meeting on January 29 this year the Supervisory Board dismissed from the JSW Management Board Mr. Michał Kończak, acting as Vice-President for Financial Matters. The Supervisory Board also did not announce the reason of this decision.

Two members of the Supervisory Board were appointed to temporarily perform the duties at the Management Board . Robert Ostrowski - to perform the duties of the Vice-President of the Management Board for Financial Matters and Krzysztof Mysiak to perform the duties of the Vice-President of the Management Board for Strategy. These responsibilities have been entrusted to them temporarily for a period from 9 February to 8 May this year.

Robert Ostrowski has graduated from the National Economy at the University of Economics in Wrocław, postgraduate study of Investment in Capital Investment and Development Projects of the School of Economics in Warsaw, postgraduate study in the field of International Financial Reporting Standards in the School of Economics / Ernst & Young. He was also a participant of the course for Investment Advisors and for Members of the Supervisory and Management Boards of the Treasury.

He has many years of experience in managerial positions, mainly financial among others in the steel industry and mining, both state owned and private. He held the following posts: CFO in Huta Katowice S.A., Polskie Huty Stali S.A. and Mittal Steel Poland S.A., Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Economics and Finance of JSW S.A., Chairman of the Board of Minerals Mining Group S.A., a member of the Management Board for Economy Polskie Koleje Linowe S.A. He also gained professional experience in companies such as KGHM and Ernst & Young.

Krzysztof Mysiak graduated from the Cracow University of Technology faculty of chemistry, in Kraków and managerial studies in the field of Marketing Management WIFI Austria-Poland. He also completed a number of specialist courses in terms of the legal basis of the preparation of the prospectus and the International Accounting Standards, advanced sales techniques, project management, he is also a licensed securities broker.

He was working in brokerage activities at  BRE S.A., BDM S.A. and WYD S.A. in Katowice, where he held the position of the Deputy CEO  - the director of the brokerage department. He was also employed at Messer Poland Sp. o.o. as deputy director for development, Huta Łabędy S.A. as a member of the Board - Director. Controlling and strategic analyzes in Promet Supreme Court in Sosnowiec as a member of the Board - Director. Trade and Development, Petrochemia-Blachownia S.A. as commercial director - proxy.
