JSW had dealt with long before with these issues that are currently included in the practice of corporate social responsibility - long before the term came into the dictionary of Polish business. The Company is historically associated with the Silesian region, and has always been an active member of the community, where it has grown.
The increasing scale of operations, however, has required more systematic thinking about the planning and implementation of responsible business practices. Therefore, the Board of JSW SA in January 2013 adopted the "Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy for the years 2013-2015," which is consistent with the business strategy of the Company. Importantly, the document was developed by an interdisciplinary JSW CSR team appointed by the President of the Management Board.
