Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, which is the only producer of coking coal in the European Union, has always attached great importance to supporting local communities and educating young people. Through cooperation with schools training students in mining professions, the Company is committed to the educational and professional development of young learners, providing them with inspiration and opportunities for development in the mining industry.

Under the scholarship program, JSW annually selects the best students from partner schools and rewards them with a cash prize. From each school, prizes of PLN 1,500, PLN 1,000 and PLN 800 go to the top three students. This initiative aims to award exceptional educational achievements and motivate young people to further develop their potential.
Cash prizes for JSW scholarship recipients were presented at a ceremony held at the Company's headquarters, attended by students, school principals and JSW representatives.
