Jerzy Borecki was elected to be JSW’s Vice-President of Production, Grzegorz Czornik was elected to be the Vice-President of Sales and Robert Kozłowski was elected to be the Vice-President and CFO, who is currently acting in this capacity, while Artur Wojtków was elected to be the Vice-President of Labor and Social Policy as JSW employees elected him to be their representative in the coal company’s Management Board on 11 April 2013.
At its previous meeting on 9 April 2013 the JSW Supervisory Board elected the President of the Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA Management Board. Jarosław Zagórowski was elected to be the CEO once again. The three-year term of office of the newly-elected Management Board will commence on the date of holding this year’s Ordinary Shareholder Meeting.
Jerzy Borecki is the only new member of the Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa Management Board in its 8th term of office. He will replace Andrzej Tor as the Vice-President of Production, who did not run. Jerzy Borecki currently acts as the director of the Pniówek Mine in Pawłowice belonging to JSW. He has also held managerial positions in several other of the company’s mines: in the closed Morcinek Mine and in the Krupiński, Jas-Mos and Zofiówka Mines. He is 49. He is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow.
