JSW simplifies organizational structure

Organizational scheme of JSW Management Office has changed since 1 July 2015. The changes are designed to simplify and streamline the management of JSW and the whole Capital Group.


The following offices have been liquidated: Coal Sales Office, Sales Strategy Office for Coke and Coal Derivatives, Bureau of Mechanical Processing and Coal Quality. Employees of the first two offices were transferred pursuant to Article 23 'of the Labor Code to the Polski Koks S.A. However the workplace for transferred employees will still be the Management Board Office of JSW. The  rooms will be rented by the Polski Koks S.A. Employees of the Department of Mechanical Processing and Coal Quality, which consists of teams of Mechanical Processing, Coal Quality and the Environment Protection were transferred to the Production Office of JSW S.A.

- We wanted to consolidate the commercial area in order to create a single center of competence in planning and sales management of the Group - says Edward Szlęk, CEO of JSW. - Such a solution does not only mean cost savings, but also improves control of your business,  decision-making systems and increases efficiency in the use of assets and human resources.

Let us remind that on 18 June 2015 due to  Supervisory Board's decision, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Sales  was dismissed and thus the composition of the JSW Board has been reduced to four members.
