The aim of the competition is to promote companies preparing the best consolidated annual reports in terms of value in use, prepared in accordance with IFRS / IAS. By complying with the formal requirements for annual reports, recommendations of international institutions and the application of good practices increased the safety of the capital market in Poland.
- Triple award in this year's "The best annual report" is not only honor for us, but also a confirmation that the efforts to prepare the best quality accounts paid off. Our work has been appreciated not only by the judges of the competition, but also investors, from whom we receive positive signals. Of course, we do not rest on our laurels, we want the reports to become even better, both logically and visually - says Robert Kozlowski, CFO of JSW.
The results were announced on 17 October 2014. During the Final Gala "The best annual report." The jury emerged winners of the companies and financial institutions. Prizes were awarded for the best report on the activities, the best application of MSSF / MSR, the best value in use of the annual report. A special award was, however received for the best annual report in the internet and the best annual report of a foreign company.
The competition jury included representatives m.in: Ministry of Treasury, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PWC, Grant Thornton, Erste Securities Ipopema, University of Łódź, Poznań University of Economics, Katowice WSBiF and PAP journalists, Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita and Parkiet.
