Under the agreement, Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa will provide students with the opportunity to undergo vocational training. This is an opportunity for young people to receive good professional preparation and to gain experience in the difficult mining work. – After the end of this school year the first class of students who graduated from the Technical and Industrial School will also be able to take advantage of the guarantee of employment in JSW mines – says Natalia Kuś, Director of the School Complex in Czerwionka-Leszczyny. – Currently the professions of electrician and electrical technician are very popular due to the wide range of employment opportunities and the great demand in this industry – adds the school headmistress.
The signed agreement is beneficial to all parties. Rybnik Deputy County Governor Marek Profaska said that the cooperation with Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa allows for the development of both the students and the school. The Czerwionka-Leszczyny School Complex provides education in many areas, including, among others, the professions of electrical technician specializing in mining equipment and installations and underground mining technician. In the 1st Degree Industrial School students learn the following professions: electrician specializing in mining equipment and installations and underground miner.
The agreement was signed by Artur Wojtków, Vice President of the JSW Management Board for Employment and Social Policy, Natalia Kuś – Director of the School Complex in Czerwionka-Leszczyny, and the Management Board of the Rybnik County: County Governor Damian Mrowec and his deputy Marek Profaska.
