“I see the prize awarded to us by the Polish Market magazine as a sign of recognition for the modern profile of our company and its position on the European market of coke manufacturers shown to us by distinguished economists. A few years ago, together with the owners, we have made a courageous decision to commence an implementation of a wide-ranging development strategy. Since 2005, even despite the period of global economic downturn, we have been consequently executing the programme of a comprehensive modernisation of Koksownia Przyjaźń,” stresses Edward Szlęk, the President of the Management Board of Koksownia Przyjaźń Sp. z o.o.
Koksownia Przyjaźń, which forms part of the Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa Group, ranks one of the top European manufacturers of the best-quality coke and coal-related products. It is a modern enterprise which adapts to market and competition requirements, and takes care of the environment.
