New Member of the JSW S.A. Management Board Selected

On 1 March 2012, the Supervisory Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. completed the recruitment procedure for the position of Management Board Member responsible for finance and acting as the Vice President for Economic Affairs. 6 candidates qualified for interviews conducted during the final stage of the recruitment procedure.

Selected as a new Member of the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. was Mr. Robert Kozłowski who will assume his duties on 1 April 2012.

Mr. Robert Kozłowski, aged 55, graduated from the Foreign Trade Department of the Warsaw School of Economics (formerly the Central School of Planning and Statistics in Warsaw) with a Master's degree in economics, majoring in economics and organization of foreign trade.

He has extensive international management experience in the execution of industrial projects in the areas of non-ferrous metal smelting, underground construction and sales of metallurgical and foundry machinery, equipment and products (Brazil, North Africa, the old European Union countries).

Currently, Mr. Robert Kozłowski conducts his own business focused on economic consulting and management.  His previous positions to date have included the Management Board Member responsible for finance in Odmet S.A., a company operating in the sector of distribution and processing of steel products, the Chief Financial Officer of Brasco S.A., a company focused on the production and sale of biocomponents and biofuels, the Chief Executive Officer in the electric utility Energetyka Dwory and the Chief Executive Officer of the listed companies Yawal S.A. and Paged S.A.

He has also worked as the Senior Investment Director in the asset management companies International Westfund Holding, Everest Capital and BRE Private Equity, managed the financial assets of closed-end mutual funds (NFIs) and sat on the management boards of the mutual funds Kazimierz Wielki and Zachodni NFI S.A. and the bank Górnośląski Bank Gospodarczy S.A. (later Getin Bank).
