– This initiative is a continuation of our cooperation conducted for several years. It aims at tightening the relations between the Polish and the UK mining industry, which is classified by the UK Department for International Trade as a strategic sector of economy. Excellent relations with Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa are an important element of this cooperation – stated Janusz Bil, Head of the Department of International Trade in the British Embassy in Warsaw.
The business and trade presentations, both by the host and by the guests, showed the multitude of elements that the cooperation may cover in the future.
– JSW is a global leading mining company, where state-of-the-art technologies are constantly implemented in the production process on an industrial scale. I agree with our guests on the point that we are a particularly demanding partner. I can see innovation potential in the companies that came to us on the invitation of the British Embassy – said Adam Oleś Director of the JSW Strategy and Development Department, who presided over the Polish-British business meeting on behalf of the host.
