The resignation was submitted on 10 January 2012 to the Chairman of the JSW S.A. Supervisory Board. Marek Wadowski’s duties, until the Supervisory Board appoints a new Management Board member, will be discharged by the JSW S.A. CEO, Jarosław Zagórowski.
– I came to the JSW S.A. Management Board with a mission to perform specific tasks. I feel that these objectives have been attained. Hence the decision to look for new challenges in the JSW Capital Group – says Marek Wadowski. – I was very happy to receive the offer to work in the SEJ S.A. Management Board. I want to leverage my existing experience to develop the power business, which is an important area for JSW.
Spółka Energetyczna „Jastrzębie” S.A. generates electricity and heating for industrial needs and the population of Jastrzębie-Zdrój and its vicinity. In December 2011, SEJ S.A. took over Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej S.A. seated in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The purpose of the concentration is for the JSW Capital Group to attain a vertically integrated structure, characterized by low operating expenses, and leverage the synergies for activity in the local heating markets.
