On 29 September 2011, the State Treasury Minister signed an agreement with Spółka Energetyczna “Jastrzębie” S.A. with its registered office in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, belonging to the JSW Capital Group, providing for the sale an 85% stake held by the State Treasury in Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej S.A. with its registered office in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.
