We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the people involved in the rescue operation at the Krupiński coal mine.
Particular gratitude is owed to all the rescuers, who risked their own health and lives to save the lives of their colleagues. We would like to thank the Central Mine Rescue Station in Bytom, the Regional Mine Rescue Station in Wodzisław Śląski, as well as the mine rescuers from Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. We also wish to thank Mr Zygmunt Łukaszczyk, the Silesian Province Governor, the services he is in charge of, and the local government authorities for their support.
We would like to express our truly sincere gratitude to the physicians of the Centre for Burn Treatment in Siemianowice Śląskie, particularly to Mariusz Nowak, head of the Centre, and Dr Marek Kawecki. We also wish to thank Provincial Specialist Hospital No. 2 in Jastrzębie-Zdrój and all the physicians involved in the rescue operation.
