- Around the world, also in Poland, there is a growing interest in electric vehicles. The new JSW charging station is yet another step towards the popularization of electric vehicles and a focus on the environmentally friendly transport - said Daniel Ozon, Acting President of the Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa.
In June, the company purchased two electric cars, which workers use to move between mines and offices. Cars are cheap to maintain. The journey costs several times less than a traditional car with an internal combustion engine - about 9 zł per 100 km. JSW is the first mining company to engage in eco-friendly transport.
