From coking coal to steel

Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa boasts its latest film production, which presents the Group and highlights its role in the green transition.

The film is less than two minutes long. It shows JSW mines extracting coking coal, a commodity of strategic importance for the development of the European Union. You can take a look at the coke plants making coke which is necessary for the production of steel used in every aspect of our lives.

An extremely important aspect of the film is the demonstration of the Company's strength and determination to adapt to changing market conditions and increasing environmental requirements. Thanks to the innovative and technological potential of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, everything is done with respect for the environment and the climate.

The film's authors leave viewers in no doubt that the role JSW plays in the green space of our lives is far more important. Without coking coal and coke, there will be no steel, and this steel is essential for the construction of hydroelectric and wind turbines, electric motors and many other devices on which carbon-free energy is based. Anyone who sees the film will agree with its message that the green energy transition begins at JSW Group's mines and coke plants.

The film's strengths include dynamic cinematography and clear graphics, which present in an attractive and understandable way the role that Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa has been playing in the global economic system for 30 years.
