Jastrzębski Węgiel is a volleyball club with the most media presence

We are proud to announce that Jastrzębski Węgiel, supported by Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, has been recognized by Forbes magazine as a volleyball club with the most media coverage in Poland. Congratulations!

Forbes magazine, together with Pentagon Research and Przegląd Sportowy, compiled and published a ranking of brands with the most media presence in Polish sports, which was published in the June issue of Forbes. It turns out that the number of media publications about Jastrzębski Węgiel was more than 20,000, and the media value was estimated at PLN 79.2 million.

The ranking for Polish athletes with the most media presence was won by Poland's top tennis player and WTA world ranking leader Iga Świątek ahead of Polish national soccer team captain Robert Lewandowski and another great Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz. Among the volleyball players, the highest ranked were: Wilfredo Leon (11th place) ahead of Aleksander Śliwka (12th place) and Bartosz Kurek (13th place).

Among football clubs, the media pay most attention to Legia Warsaw. In speedway, the club with the most media presence is Enea Falubaz Zielona Góra, in handball - Industria Kielce, and among basketball clubs - Trefl Sopot. Interestingly, a sports event with the most media coverage turned out to be the volleyball Tauron Polish Cup held in Kraków.

Magazyn „Forbes” wraz z firmą Pentagon Research i „Przeglądem Sportowym” opracował i opublikował ranking najbardziej medialnych marek w polskim sporcie, który opublikowany został w czerwcowym wydaniu „Forbesa”. Okazuje się, że liczba publikacji medialnych na temat Jastrzębskiego Węgla wyniosła ponad 20 tysięcy, a wartość mediową wyliczono na 79,2 mln złotych.

W rankingu na najbardziej medialnych polskich sportowców zwyciężyła najlepsza polska tenisistka i liderka światowego rankingu WTA Iga Świątek przed kapitanem piłkarskiej reprezentacji Polski Robertem Lewandowskim i innym świetnym polskim tenisistą Hubertem Hurkaczem. Wśród siatkarzy najwyżej sklasyfikowani zostali: Wilfredo Leon (11. miejsce) przed Aleksandrem Śliwką (12. miejsce) i Bartoszem Kurkiem (13. miejsce).

Spośród klubów piłkarskich media najwięcej uwagi poświęcają Legii Warszawa. W żużlu najbardziej medialna jest Enea Falubaz Zielona Góra, w piłce ręcznej Industria Kielce, zaś wśród klubów koszykarskich Trefl Sopot. Co ciekawe, najbardziej medialnym wydarzeniem sportowym okazał siatkarski Tauron Puchar Polski organizowany w Krakowie.
