JSW Vice-President elected as President of the Critical Raw Materials Alliance

Jarosław Kluczniok, Vice-President of the JSW SA Management Board for Development, has been elected President of the Critical Raw Materials Alliance in Brussels. The CRM Alliance is the leading organization representing the interests of companies involved in the extraction, processing and trading of critical raw materials in Europe.

Jarosław Kluczniok, as President elected for a 2-year term, will support the CRM Alliance's activities on key issues, including promoting sustainable practices in the extraction and processing of critical raw materials, supporting innovation in the sector, and, most importantly, working with EU policymakers and industry representatives to develop and implement policies that enhance the security of supply of critical raw materials for Europe while maintaining the competitiveness of European industry.

“I am honored to take up the position of President of the CRM Alliance in Brussels," said Jarosław Kluczniok. “Critical raw materials are essential to the functioning of the European economy, so we need to ensure their sustainable and secure supply, based on such an important factor as predictability for investors and the entire industry.  The Critical Raw Materials Act, which went into effect in May of this year, poses many challenges but also opportunities for the raw materials industry. I am confident that my experience will allow me to effectively support the activities of the alliance and represent the interests of all its members in dealing with new Members of the European Parliament and the European Commission. We will present a common, strong position of the entire critical raw materials industry also in our contacts with the Council of the European Union, including during the Polish presidency in the first half of 2025.” added the newly elected President of the CRM Alliance.
