JSW Group employees won the first-level award in the “Organizational and Educational Projects” category. The footage and photos, as well as the presentations and texts of the “3600 JSW Mines” app, were produced by a team of 7 employees from JSW S.A., JSW Szkolenie i Górnictwo and JSW IT Systems.

- On behalf of all the winners, I would like to thank Minister Marlena Maląg and all the co-organizers for holding the 48th edition of the competition and the opportunity to present works related to improving safety and working conditions. I dedicate the award to JSW to the miners who have gone on eternal duty. The award will be a motivation for us to work even harder and undertake innovative technical, scientific and organizational solutions in the future - said Edward Paździorko, Vice-President of the JSW S.A. Management Board for Technical and Operational Matters.

This year, 57 works were submitted to the competition in 3 categories: technical and technological solutions; scientific and research works; and organizational and educational projects. The trophy was presented to the winners from JSW by Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.

- Work is very important to each of us. It gives us a sense of dignity and professional and family stability. At work we can realize ourselves, but also combine the responsibilities of family life with professional work. Certainly, all this is very important. But in the workplace, where we spend a lot of time, the right conditions must be in place, the right changes must be made that are needed to make everyone feel safe, and that we pay attention to these issues of importance for every employee and employer. Congratulations to all the winners - said Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.

The competition is open to companies, institutions and employees. Its goal is to disseminate solutions that improve safety and working conditions. It is organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy in cooperation with other ministries, the Polish Central Technical Organization, labor inspection offices, insurance institutions and social partners.

The “3600 JSW Mines” app is the first such solution in Poland in respect to the propagation of knowledge on coal mines and threats that occur in the mines. To date, no similar educational and popularization projects in the field of mining have been known and applied, neither on the company nor on the national level.
