Serbia: an important trade partner

Jolanta Gruszka, Vice-President of the Management Board for Sales, represented Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa as part of the government delegation to Serbia. In Belgrade, the representatives discussed opportunities for developing economic cooperation between the countries.

The government delegation, led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, visited Serbia in order to strengthen trade relations with this important partner. The delegation also included Jakub Jaworowski, Minister of State Assets, and representatives of 10 State Treasury companies, including Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. 

The representatives of Polish companies took part in a business round table meeting organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, during which potential areas of cooperation were discussed, particularly in the fields of energy, new technologies and raw materials sector. Jolanta Gruszka, Vice-President of the Management Board for Sales, spoke about the role of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa as a supplier of raw materials essential for the green transition. The participants of the round table meeting acknowledged the company’s long-standing exports of blast-furnace coke to Serbia.
