Body of the report:
The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. („JSW”, “Company”) reports that today the CEO of JSW S.A., Mr. Jarosław Zagórowski tendered his resignation from acting in the capacity of the Company’s CEO. In the justification for his resignation JSW’s CEO indicated that:
„On account of the unprecedented wave of enmity and aggression against me incited by the trade union leaders and fueled for the duration of the strike lasting some 17 days, I do not see a possibility of continuing to manage Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. effectively. For these reasons and being guided by a fear for my personal safety in light of the threats made against me publicly, I hereby tender my resignation from acting in the capacity of CEO of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. as of 17 February 2015 at 11 p.m. and I hereby request that my resignation be examined at the Supervisory Board meeting to be held on 17 February 2015”.
