Body of the Report:

The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (“Company”, “JSW”) reports that on 2 April 2020 it adopted a resolution on the occurrence of force majeure in Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and notified the Company’s business partners of its occurrence and the consequences for some of the liabilities stemming from the concluded commercial agreements. The foregoing decision was made in connection with the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the related limitations and measures taken by the governments of countries and businesses around the world – which may have a direct impact on the financial standing of the Company and of the JSW Group.

As at the date of preparing this report, it is not possible to specify the impact of this decision on the business, financial and operational standing and prospects of the Company and of the JSW Group.
