Body of the Report:

The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (“JSW”, “Company”) reports that on 8 June 2020 it adopted a resolution on further measures to contain the spread of infections due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A.

Based on the decision of the Company’s Management Board, the usual coal mining production cycle in the “Knurów-Szczygłowice” and “Budryk” mines will be suspended from 9 June to and including 28 June 2020. The Company’s Management Board recommends that coal shipments and sales be continued in these mines to the extent technically and organizationally possible.
The above measures were taken by the Company’s Management Board in the interest of the employees’ health and safety, in connection with the recommendations of the Silesian Voivode, the Silesian State Voivodeship Sanitary Inspector and the Minister of State Assets.
At the current stage the Company is not able to estimate the impact of the above measures associated with suspending the production on the business, financial and operational standing and prospects of the Company and of the JSW Group.
The Company will report on the effects of the aforementioned decisions in a current report presenting the data on the JSW Group’s operating activity in Q2 2020.
