Body of the Report:

The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (“Company”, “JSW”) reports that on 19 December 2023 it adopted a resolution on the occurrence of force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company’s business partners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for the obligations affected by the operation of force majeure. The adoption of this decision is related to the occurrence of a fire in KWK Pniówek on 6 December 2023.

As a result of the analyses conducted, the impact of the event in 2024 has been estimated at 350 thousand tons of reduction in the level of production at KWK Pniówek.

The Company reports that as at the date of preparing this report, it is not possible to specify the full impact of the incident on the future prospects of the Company and of the JSW Group. In the event of material changes stemming from the analyses conducted, JSW will provide information in the form of separate current reports.
