The Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (“Company”) hereby announces that, pursuant to Resolution No. 5 adopted by the Company’s Extraordinary Shareholder Meeting on 4 October 2011, Mr. Mariusz Warych has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of the 7th term of office. Mr. Warych will discharge the function of a Supervisory Board member.

According to his representation, Mr. Warych is not conducting any business outside the Issuer’s enterprise or any business competitive to that of the Company. He is not a partner in any civil law company or partnership, nor is he a member of any corporate authority of a joint stock or limited liability company, nor is he involved with any other competitive legal person as a member of its corporate authority. He is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act.
