To investors and companies

|   Investors Relations

Launch of the third edition of our educational program.

The Ministry of Treasury is launching, in collaboration with a group of 28 partners, the third edition of the national educational program entitled “Civic Shareholdership. Invest Wisely.” The market is changing and we are keeping up with what’s going on. The 2013/14 edition of the program is addressed not only to individual investors but also, for the first time, to listed companies

Our objective is not just to educate investors. We also want to show companies how to communicate with investors and build good investor relations.

This edition of the program offers the following to individual investors:

Broadcasts addressed to shareholders in the media

Starting from 24 September 2013, TVP1 will broadcast a three-part program entitled “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About The Stock Exchange.” The broadcast will provide instructions on how to become an investor, select companies and purchase stock, and how to minimize the risk of loss. Presentations are conducted using simple, straightforward language. They are innovative and contain lots of animation.

Classroom training

We are organizing 23 free workshops across Poland on the basics of investing on the stock exchange. They will be held from November 2013 to March 2014. As part of the previous two editions of the program, a total of six thousand people participated in 86 meetings. You may already sign up by clicking this link.

Additionally, experts working for brokerage houses will conduct training sessions at selected Universities of the Third Age.

E-learning platform

Starting from the beginning of next year, we will be conducting free-of-charge online training sessions on the basics of investing on the stock exchange. These sessions will be conducted in an attractive and simple step-by-step form.

Furthermore, we are expanding our portal: Akcjonariat.Obywatelski.pl, the program's Facebook funpage and our YouTube channel.

Yesterday (19 September), we conducted the first project targeting companies. During a conference held at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, experts from investor relations departments of large French, German and British companies delivered presentations to company representatives and capital market participants on how to build strategies to nurture relations with individual investors, how to maintain them and which tools to use.

This edition of the program will also offer the following to listed companies:

Audits of companies’ investor relations activities

These audits will cover practices, expenditures, standards and tools and the frequency of various investor relations activities, with particular emphasis on activities targeting individual investors.

Brochure on the best practices in communicating with individual investors

Manual on organizing open days in companies

Training

A series of lectures in five Polish cities for managers and IR employees in listed companies. Experts will present the fundamentals of modern investor relations and show the most useful tools for communicating with individual investors.

Program entitled “Individual Investor-Friendly Company”

A contest promoting companies known for their top-quality investor relations. The contest winner will be awarded the title of “Individual Investor-Friendly Company.”
