A Salary Agreement has been reached

On 28 January, a salary agreement was concluded between the JSW SA Management Board and representative trade union organizations.

It was agreed that as of 1 January 2022 the base salary rates for all employees would be raised by 10%. The payment for preventive meals will also be increased as of January from PLN 21 to PLN 30. The representative trade union organizations in JSW SA include the following: Zakładowa Organizacja Koordynacyjna NSZZ „Solidarność” JSW SA, Zawiązek Zawodowy „Kadra” Pracowników JSW SA and Federacja ZZG JSW SA.

“I am pleased that we have reached an agreement. Now, all of us will be able to work calmly. We will not lose any energy on unnecessary disputes that in the past have too frequently accompanied wage-related negotiations. We have demonstrated that talks based on the merits are the best solution. I would like to thank the representative trade union organizations for their constructive attitude”, said Tomasz Cudny, CEO of JSW SA.
